Hindsight Markets

Simulated-Trading Disclaimer

Last updated 4 September 2026

Simulated trading. No real money.

Every order you place on Hindsight Markets is simulated against historical market data. No real money changes hands, no order reaches an exchange or a broker, and no position you hold here exists anywhere else. We are not a broker, and nothing on the service is financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

What the model does and does not capture

Marketable orders fill against real displayed size, best price first; anything bigger than what's displayed pays modeled impact. Resting orders wait in their routed exchange's real queue (Nasdaq by default). Off-exchange liquidity (≈38.7–45.8% of prints) and hidden size are not modeled.

Slippage is modeled to the depth you can see. Your own order moving the market afterwards is not.

Practice results are practice results

A profit or a loss here says something about a decision against that day's book. It does not guarantee, and is not a prediction of, what the same decision would do with real money, in a live market, with your own orders changing it.

The data

The data is historical and at least one day old. The archive holds every session since 2018 on the chart, scanner and news; the full order book for every day from August 2026 forward, growing daily.
