A quiet stock gets crowded
Pre-market was thin: 4,338 shares traded, with a high of $0.8755. It opened at $0.8623 and was through $1.00 by 9:32. By 10:10 the 7M-share float had traded. The day before, 6,458 shares traded in total.
Two halts, two different reopens
The first volatility halt came at 9:45:03, with the last trade at $1.29. It reopened at 9:50:03 at $1.30 and touched $1.34 that minute. Then it sold off to $1.05 by 9:53, about 20% lower.
The second halt came at 10:23:17 at $1.59. It reopened at 10:28:17 at $1.60, reached $1.63, and sank to $1.46 the next minute. It then pushed on to $1.72 by 10:31.
The top, then a lower high
At 11:00 it hit $1.79, the high of the regular session, and was down to $1.42 two minutes later. At 11:14 it pushed again, but to $1.70, a lower high. It slid to $1.34 by 11:37 and mostly held between $1.30 and $1.50 through the afternoon.
A late rally from $1.34 at 2:37 p.m. took it to $1.69 by 3:56 and it closed at $1.63, up 108% on the previous close. Regular session volume was 35.5M shares.
After hours it spiked to $2.15 at 4:41 p.m., the high of the whole day, and was back near $1.52 by 5:00.
What to take from it: The second push at 11:14 stopped under the 11:00 top. $1.79, then $1.70, and the stock spent the rest of the session below both.

On the day's lists: the intraday runners.
